Pastor Josh T. Lively was born in Seth, West Virginia.  His parents relocated to Canton, Ohio where Josh grew up in the Canton Calvary Church of the Nazarene.   

Pastor Josh is a graduate of Mount Vernon Nazarene University.  He has pastored churches in Ohio and West Virginia since 1987.  In addition to serving as a Lead Pastor, Josh has served as District NYI Vice President, District NYI Treasurer, BLAST Director, Board of Ministerial Studies, Advisory Board to the M.V.N.U. President and Small Church Institute Director.  He is currently serving on the Ministerial Credentials Board.

Pastor Josh has been the Lead Pastor at Columbus First since 2006.  He has also  been serving as a Licensed Evangelist since 2000.

Pastor Josh and Sue were married June 24, 1978  in Canton, OH.  They have three wonderful adult daughters and a grandson.

Sue is serving as the Children's Director.

Rev. Gerri & Herb Nugent

Pastor Gerri is an ordained elder in the Church of the Nazarene. In addition to her Bachelor of Arts in Ministry degree (Pastoral Ministries, Bible & Theology), she has a Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree. Pastor Gerri previously served on pastoral staff at Shepherd Church of the Nazarene as Minister of Stewardship and then as Administrator for Shepherd Christian School & Little Lambs Children’s Center. She retired from the Administrator position in March, 2010. Pastor Gerri grew up in Columbus but moved to Arizona where she met her husband, Herb. They moved to Columbus from Colorado Springs, Colorado, where she served on staff at Nazarene Bible College, and as Director of Senior Adult Ministries at Colorado Springs First Church of the Nazarene.

Herb is serving as the NMI President.
